Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Hope app and website (the "Services"), operated by Hope Labs Limited ("Hope", "we", "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Services if you are a U.S. Person, are located in the United States, or are in any jurisdiction where use of the Services is restricted or prohibited.

2. What Hope is — and is not

Hope is a non-custodial interface that lets you interact with decentralized protocols. Hope is not an exchange, broker, dealer, custodian, or counterparty, and does not operate, control, custody, or settle any transaction. Hope does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or securities advice.

3. Self-custody & your responsibility

Your wallet is self-custodial and managed by a third-party provider (Privy). You are solely responsible for maintaining access to your wallet, keys, and device. Hope cannot access, move, freeze, or recover your assets.

4. Third-party protocols

Trades and other transactions execute on independent third-party decentralized protocols, including Hyperliquid. We do not control those protocols and are not responsible for their operation, availability, performance, or settlement. Instruments accessed through the Services may be synthetic derivative contracts that reference the price of an underlying asset; using them does not constitute the purchase, sale, or ownership of any underlying asset.

5. Risks

Trading carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You may lose your entire balance. Positions may be liquidated automatically and without notice. You are solely responsible for your decisions and for any resulting gains or losses.

6. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, and not to use any VPN, proxy, or other technique to circumvent geographic or other restrictions.

7. No warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hope Labs Limited and its affiliates will not be liable for any losses arising from your use of the Services, from third-party protocols, from market volatility, or from loss of your keys or device.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
